Machine's Unique Screw provides intensive mixing, which enables the production of quality foam sheet with virtually any cell size, density, flexibility and surface texture.
Machine's Tandem Extruder, an integral component of the PS Foam Sheet Extrusion Line, is consisting of a primary extruder which melts and intensively mixes polystyrene with a blowing gas and other additives, and a secondary extruder that optimizes cooling and forwards the melt to the forming die, enabling proper and maximum output.
Machine's Dies are engineered to high tolerances to specified process requirements, as the other integral component of the PS foam sheet extrusion Line provides efficient processing and the flexibility to create the highest quality foam sheet to meet today's diversities of market demands.

PS Foam Sheet Extrusion Line

ZM-HLS-JPS serial high-expanded polystyrene sheet machine unit is a universal double-stage tandem type. The main raw material general purpose polystyrene grain (GPPS) that supplemented a small amount of other materials (such as nucleating agent, lubricating agent and intensifier), is plastified in the first-stage of extrusion, and then cooled and homogenized in the second-stage of extrusion, after the injection of the foaming agent (through high-pressure metering pump). Then, it is extruded, cooled and shaped, and finally processed into high-expanded polystyrene sheet (PSP) with various specifications.

Polystyrene material is print ready, easy to fold, water and bacteria resistant and a great insulator that keeps food warm or cold, so it is perfect for serving both hot meals and ice cream. Therefore, this kind of sheet is mainly processed into disposable fast food containers. After thermal modeling and blanking, it will be manufactured into fruit, vegetable and raw meat pallets, fast food packages, egg crates, bowls, trays and other tableware, as well as industrial product packages (with features of damp resistance, heat insulation and shock proofing), KD boards, education materials, decorative boards, wall padding and ceiling panels, inner ceilings of automobiles, and building and decorative materials.
